Values Of Care
An Integrative Approach
We first help patients heal and then empower them with the knowledge and tools to avoid many of the pitfalls that created their illness in the first place. Guided step-by-step by our care team, you will implement an integrative approach to your wellness, drawing from the most up-to-date nutritional science, lifestyle medicine, and psychophysiology to significantly improve your health and alleviate stress induced symptoms.
Not only is each patient biologically unique, their illness is unique too. There are so many factors that need to be considered for your illness – from traumatic life experiences, lifestyle choices, food choices, toxins in your immediate environment and your past & current social interactions.
After we do your intake, we may conduct further lab tests depending on what system of the body has been affected by stress most. Plus, we also use other assessment tools to get the full picture of your health and come up with a comprehensive care plan.
During your in-depth intake consultation, we take the time needed, one-on-one, to conduct a thorough review to understand all the potential triggers for your illness. This review includes your past medical history from birth up to now, your family history, your past and present diet, environment, stress levels, immune system, hormonal system and gut health. Your in-depth health history is the start to unraveling the root causes of you illness.
Root Cause Resolution
We focus on getting to the root causes of your stress reactions and symptoms. We understand the connection between your physiology and psychology. We will examine the imbalances in the physical, emotional and mental domains of health to see how your immune system, hormonal system, digestive system and nervous system are interacting and affecting your current health. By doing so, we can build resilience and health in all areas of health and help you function at your optimal level.
